the Center's Advisory Board, including representatives from the Library of Congress, the State Historical Society of North Dakota and the National Park Service.

The creation of this immense resource capitalizes on the talents

and contributions of a worldwide network of dedicated individuals. Volunteers at the TR Center play an important part in our work.

Theodore Roosevelt was the 26th President of the United States. He was born on October 27, 1858, in New York City and died on January 6, 1919. In the sixty intervening years he lived one of the most strenuous lives in American history.
