Theodore Roosevelt: The Adventurer

Symposium dates: October 12 – 14, 2006

I can’t believe we got to hear these authors, purchased their books, have them signed by the authors and be able to visit with them.  Clay Jenkinson’s portrayal of T.R. was a special treat.

I am a retired teacher but I am not a historian.  However, you are causing me to develop a great interest in becoming one, and I thank you!

Thank you for a wonderful weekend.  We were so impressed with your state, your college, the wonderful meals and most of all your generous hospitality.

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip.  The people at Dickinson were so friendly and the scholars were very approachable.

Great programs, wonderful speakers, delightful food.  Thoroughly enjoyed it all.  Thank you!

I was enchanted by North Dakota and her wonderful people.

I have traveled to similar events throughout the nation and DSU can be proud of the event they hosted.

Symposium was great – beyond expectation.  It will be hard to top this event next year.  Thanks for the invitation.  It was great to return to western North Dakota.

One of the better meetings I have ever attended in my University career.

It was a wonderful and insightful event. The speakers were great, Clay Jenkinson was terrific and the tour at the Elkhorn Ranch was absolutely memorable, all together a great joy by all concerned.

I cannot wait for next year’s symposium.

Overall A+++.  I will be back next year.
